On Monday, Hyundai Dream Tour, a travel company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced a partnership with Air France-KLM to promote the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
SAF is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuel-based jet fuel that uses biofuels such as animal and vegetable oils. It can reduce carbon emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional jet fuel.
As part of the partnership, Hyundai Dream Tour will establish a carbon emission reduction support fund to help reduce carbon emissions during air travel. The fund will be used to support Air France and KLM in expanding their use of SAF.
