LS Electric to unveil eco-friendly smart energy techs in Vietnam

South Korea's LS Electric Co. announced on Monday its participation in the highly anticipated "Electric Energy Show 2023" to be held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from May 17 to 19.

The company aims to showcase its expertise in next-generation smart energy technologies through a meticulously curated exhibition space spanning 108 square meters, focusing on green energy, digital transformation and smart distribution.

LS Electric plans to unveil its green smart power solutions, including cutting-edge direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) products. Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, the company will showcase eco-friendly transformers for offshore wind power generation, gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) integrated with eco-friendly gas and advanced power converters with a strong emphasis on environmental compatibility.

Since its entry into Vietnam in the mid-1990s, LS Electric has established a dominant position in the market. With a market share exceeding 40% in the low-voltage power equipment segment, the company has maintained its leadership since 2013.

"Through substantial investments in local power system projects and the introduction of tailored strategic products, we are well positioned to drive expansion not only in Vietnam but also throughout the ASEAN region," an official of LS Electric said.
