SK C&C to provide corporate employee healthcare

South Korea’s SK C&C on Tuesday signed an agreement to offer employee healthcare management programs to companies with digital healthcare providers Aim-Med and Atommerce.

Aim-Med is the first domestic company to get approval for an easy-to-use app for the behavioral treatment of insomnia.  Atommerce is a startup that runs Mind Cafe, a mental health management app.

The three companies will jointly develop programs to encourage corporate executives and employees to improve their lifestyle habits. Staff diagnosed with chronic diseases such as metabolic syndrome through regular checkups are classified into a health risk group and receive a care program for 12 weeks.

A one-on-one expert consultation with an AI chatbot can also provide answers 24 hours a day.

“Given higher interest in employee welfare, demand for companies to manage both mental and physical health is also rising,” an SK C&C source said. “We will institute a systematic service for employee health management tailored for each company’s situation.”
