S.Korea’s Coreline Soft teams up with HCK of Switzerland

South Korea's Coreline Soft, a maker of artificial intelligence (AI)-based imaging diagnostic materials, on Wednesday said it will sell its chest diagnosis solution Aview LCS PLUS in Switzerland through a strategic partnership with Swiss company HealthCare Connect (HCK).

HCK aids hospitals and pharmaceutical companies to utilize the latest medical devices and services and develops joint products. Through this collaboration, Coreline Soft will provide its Aview line of AI-based solutions and technical consultations to Swiss medical institutions.

Coreline Soft recently completed pre-market notification for its Aview line for sales in Switzerland. The brand's nine products include the automatic analysis solutions Aview LCS for solitary pulmonary nodules, Aview COPD for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and Aview CAC for coronary artery calcification.

Cancer and cardiovascular screening cannot prevent a disease from occurring but greatly reduces the risk of death, HCK CEO Marwan Senjahi said. He also hailed his company's partnership with Coreline Soft, which he said provides comprehensive screening opportunities based on low-dose lung CT scans.

Coreline Europe head Vanja Azabagic-Thursar said AI will help patients and medical staff by preventing and diagnosing early chest diseases such as lung cancer, adding that Coreline Soft and HCK will jointly contribute to reducing lung cancer mortality in Switzerland.

Coreline Soft is building ties with major global hospitals and medical institutions based on its AI solutions. Through Aview LCS PLUS, a simultaneous diagnosis solution for chest disease, the company has won consecutive orders related to lung cancer screening from the European Union-sponsored project 4 in the Long Run with the participation of five EU member countries, German screening program HANSE and Italy-based ILSP.

Coreline Soft also plans to merge with Shinhan 7th Special Purpose Acquisition Co. (SPAC), Ltd. through SPAC expiration and get listed on the secondary stock market KOSDAQ on Sept. 19.
