Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom Co. acquired shares in BitGo Korea, the Korean unit of a global digital asset trust company, and decided to establish a strategic partnership.
Mike Belshe, CEO of BitGo, said on Tuesday at the Korea Blockchain Week 2024 held at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul, that Hana Financial Group and SK Telecom have become major shareholders of BitGo Korea.
The acquired share percentages are 25% for Hana Financial Group and 10% for SK Telecom.
