South Korea's Samsung Asset Management announced on Thursday that it newly published the KODEX Brokerage ISA Investment Guidebook for individual investors managing assets through a brokerage-type individual savings account (ISA).
An ISA is a tax-advantaged account that profits and losses from interest and dividend income, allowing up to 2 million won ($1447) to be tax-exempt.
Any amount exceeding this limit is subject to a low 9.9% tax rate.
The guidebook includes detailed explanations of the ISA system and offers ETF portfolio suggestions using a brokerage-type ISA account, addressing topics of interest to investors.
Depending on the investment type, the guidebook introduces 10 ETFs and various investor-specific portfolios that can be utilized for different investment strategies, such as monthly dividends, key indices, and global growth themes.
It also outlines the advantages of using a brokerage-type ISA account for investing in overseas stock ETFs.
