South Korea's Shinhan Bank announced on Tuesday that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Hyosung TNS and LG CNS to implement future banking based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Under the agreement, the three companies will collaborate on the joint development of generative AI models, the advancement of unmanned banking through AI and digital device integration and the operation of a continuous AI collaboration platform.
Previously, Shinhan Bank established an AI contact center (customer service center) and became the first commercial bank to deploy AI bankers to around 150 digital desks nationwide.
