South Korea's BC Card announced on Tuesday that it launched a "Trip.Pass Card" and "Trip.Pass QR Payment Service" for foreign tourists with the domestic mobile passport platform company Lord System.
The Trip.Pass Card is a debit card that can be used within the balance limit charged through the "Trip.Pass" app, and Lord System’s tourism and financial platform for foreign tourists. It can be used at all BC Card-affiliated stores.
BC Card supports easy payment through the Trip.Pass app with the industry's first EMV (Europay, Mastercard, and Visa) standard QR payment service, allowing foreign tourists to make convenient payments without purchasing a physical card.
