South Korea's Woori Financial Group announced on Tuesday that it will be an official sponsor of the US Major League Baseball World Tour Seoul Series.
Woori Financial Group will attach its logo to the helmets of Padres players including South Korean ones including Ha-Seong Kim and Woo-Suk Go, and expose the logos of its subsidiaries, Woori Bank and Woori Card, throughout the stadium.
A promotional booth featuring the characters WiBee Friends reintroduced this year and targeting on-site baseball fans will also be open.
"Through sponsorship of the MLB Seoul Series, we aim to promote the name of Woori Financial Group worldwide and leap forward as a leading financial group," Yim Jong-Yong, CEO and Chairman of Woori Financial Group said.
