South Korea's KB Financial Group on Tuesday presented its investment philosophy to individual and institutional customers in the metaverse, a three-dimensional virtual space, through the conference "KB Invest Insights 2023" and shared the conglomerate's economic prospects this year.
At this event, group chairman Yoon Jong Kyoo announced his conglomerate's role and investment philosophy, saying the latter seeks "to see stable profits through a sustainable portfolio based on the group's expertise and systematic risk management with a customer-centric approach as the top priority."
"Just like we manage the group's own funds, we will manage the valuable funds entrusted to us with a sense of responsibility and putting customers first," he added. "We will continue efforts to secure the best professional expertise by unifying the capacities of KB Financial affiliates."
To earn stable profits despite a highly volatile market, the chairman recommended an investment strategy of using fixed income to secure cash flow through bond investment.
