South Korea's auto parts maker Hyundai Mobis announced on Sunday that its Active Aero Lighting System (AALS) has received awards at the world's three most prestigious design competitions: Germany's iF and Red Dot Design Award, and the US IDEA Award.
This is the first time a single Hyundai Mobis product has achieved this triple crown.
AALS is a fusion system that enhances aerodynamic performance by integrating advanced lamp systems.
As the vehicle accelerates beyond a certain speed, a rear spoiler extends, simultaneously unveiling hidden rear lamps.
This creates a dynamic and three-dimensional vehicle image and reduces air resistance, improving driving performance.
