Hyundai Motor unveils 2024 Staria Hybrid

Hyundai Motor Co. announced on Wednesday that it will begin pre-orders for the upcoming Staria Hybrid model and the 2024 Staria on Feb. 28.

Hyundai introduced the Staria equipped with a 1.6 Turbo Hybrid powertrain for customers who prefer eco-friendly vehicles.

The Staria 1.6 Turbo Hybrid boasts a power performance with a maximum output of 245 horsepower and a peak torque of 37.4 kgf·m, based on fuel efficiency of up to 13 km/L.

It features an Idle Stop and Go (ISG) Special Control function that automatically adjusts the shift pattern in low-speed congested areas by integrating navigation and vehicle driving status.

The 2024 Staria has been enhanced in convenience and safety specifications compared to the previous model. It includes a C-type USB charger, a fourth-generation smart key with Hyundai's logo shape, and a 2D aluminum emblem.

Forward parking distance warning and Hi-pass are standard from the Modern trim, reducing door-closing speed and adding a warning sound to enhance safety. The premium Lounge model has a unified wheel color in black and high-gloss.

The rain sensor has been newly added to detect rain and automatically control wiper speed and operation time, and the sun visor lamp has been changed to LED.

Through a customizing festival where customers contribute ideas, Hyundai Motor has added the selected sliding bed as an option for the 2024 Staria Cargo model.

The sliding bed is a device that uses rails to allow convenient loading and unloading of cargo, capable of carrying up to 300 kg.
