Hyundai Motor to unveil 2024 IONIQ 6

Hyundai Motor Co. announced on Thursday that it is set to release the 2024 model of its IONIQ 6 electric vehicle (EV) on Sept. 8, bolstering its EV portfolio.

The latest iteration of the IONIQ 6 will come equipped with an array of features, from a vibration-alert steering wheel to a Bose sound system in its premium trim.

The entry-level Exclusive trim of the 2024 IONIQ 6 comes standard with sought-after features such as a vibration-alert steering wheel, second-row safety power windows, a rain sensor, and an electronic chromatic mirror (ECM). Hyundai aims to appeal to a broad range of consumers by offering these features as standard.

To mark the first anniversary of the IONIQ 6, the automaker is introducing special 1st Anniversary Packages for its different trims.

For the Exclusive trim, the 1st Anniversary Package I includes Hyundai SmartSense—a comprehensive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) featuring highway driving assist 2 (HDA2)—bundled with a 'Convenience' option that offers high pass and wireless smartphone charging capabilities.

For the more upscale Exclusive Plus trim, the 'Package II' includes a Parking Assist feature with a surround-view monitor and Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, combined with a Comfort Plus option that includes a power-adjustable passenger seat and a driver's seat position memory system.

Hyundai has also enhanced the vehicle-to-load (V2L) feature, initially available in previous models, to provide better battery management.

The driver’s cluster or infotainment display now shows the available usage time for the V2L feature, whether it's being used inside or outside the vehicle.
