Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun is rolling up his sleeves to develop human resources in Vietnam.
Accompanying the economic delegation of President Yoon Suk Yeol on the latter's state visit to Vietnam, the executive on Friday held talks with Vietnam National University, Hanoi's President Le Quan at the school's Hoa Lac campus on the need for development of future innovative talent and cooperation.
The university is considered the most prestigious in the Southeast Asian country.
Both men agreed to establish a joint cooperation center to systematically foster professional and technical human resources.
“Wouldn’t it be a great opportunity for students if Hyundai Motor Group invites famous scholars from overseas universities to lecture at Vietnam National University, Hanoi?” the chairman said in a surprise proposal.
“It would be a great help,” the university chief said in response.
