HL Mando ( Mando Corp. ) and self-driving technology company HL Klemove said Wednesday that they would participate in CES 2023, the world's largest electronics trade show being held in Las Vegas, early next month.
HL Mando will center its booth around the electric corner module. The e-corner module is an electrification system that integrates brake, steering wheel, suspension components, and vehicle drive motors, and originated from the development of x-by-wire (XBW), the part that electronically controls steering and braking.
According to HL Mando, the e-corner module can be applied to small, medium, and large vehicles, as well as to delivery robots and eco-friendly purpose-built vehicles.
HL Klemove, meanwhile, will showcase an array of autonomous driving solutions ranging from self-driving level 2+ to level 4, which is complete self-driving. Its innovations include a high-performance radar that more than doubles detection distance using a 3D antenna; an ultra-high-resolution camera that supports over-the-air updates; and an area-based electronic controller that provides a centralized architecture.
