South Korean generative artificial intelligence (AI) startup Scatter Lab said on Monday its interactive AI content platform Zeta has surpassed 1 million cumulative users six months after its launch.
Zeta, launched in April, allows users to create personalized AI characters and engage with highly customized, immersive story content.
The platform, available to users aged 14 and older, is popular among teens and twenties.
Users in their teens and 20s account for 87% of the total, followed by users in their 30s (7%) and those aged 40 and above (6%).
The user base is 65% female and 35% male.
As of October, Zeta hosts about 1.4 million AI characters, with users spending an average of 130 minutes daily on the platform.
Scatter Lab recently introduced new features, including an automatic background image generator to match story settings.
In September, the company added a paid service that allows users to hear AI character dialogues.
