South Korea’s telecom service provider KT Corp. has recently organized a collaborative seminar on digital health alongside Hanoi Medical University in Vietnam on Wednesday.
The seminar was attended by more than 150 people from 25 hospitals in Vietnam.
In addition to KT, domestic digital health solution companies also attended the seminar and shared their digital health technologies and case studies.
KT introduced its AI-powered chronic disease management system, Beplus Healthcare introduced its smart medical examination system, Waycen introduced its Medical AI+DX in Korea system, and Huinno introduced its patient remote monitoring system.
KT plans to hold joint seminars on K-healthcare and digital health every quarter. The medical advisory committee composed of medical staff from major hospitals in Korea will participate in the planning of joint seminars and work with Vietnamese medical leaders to design a curriculum tailored to local needs.
KT also officially opened its medical education platform for Vietnamese medical professionals, KT Healthcare Academy. The platform provides lectures on Korean medical knowledge in Vietnamese.
KT expects to create synergies by linking offline seminars and online platforms.
